LegalKB is a small reference site, not a customer-service operation. We do not run a phone line, a contact form, or a live-chat tool. Email reaches a real person and is the only channel that gets a reply.

Requests under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws — including requests to access, correct, or delete personal data we may hold, or to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

What we cannot help with
If you have a live legal issue with a deadline — a court date, a response window on a lawsuit, an arrest, a notice from an agency — please contact a licensed attorney in your state directly. The find a lawyer page explains how to locate one through state bar referral services. For readers with limited means, legal aid organisations offer free or reduced-fee help.
Response times
We try to respond to general email within a few business days. Privacy requests are handled within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA). Volume varies, and email from public addresses can be delayed by spam filtering — if you have not heard back in a reasonable time, a follow-up message is welcome.

LegalKB operates as a digital publication and does not maintain a public mailing address. Formal legal notices should go to legal@legalkb.com; we will respond with appropriate next steps if a physical address is required.
